Infrastructure Assessment
Radian Guaranty, Inc.,a provider of private mortgage insurance in the U.S., contracted IES to perform an Infrastructure Assessment to support e-commerce initiatives. IES provided a comprehensive review of the organization's hardware, software, networking, security, application architecture, security and organization. This assessment focused on the strategic drivers of the company and ascertained if these drivers were being carried out through out the various planning and implementation processes in the organization.

Needs Assessment
Radian Guaranty, Inc.,a provider of private mortgage insurance in the U.S., contracted IES to assess and identify opportunities to improve the Information System Request Process.

IES collected all available documentation regarding the process including charter, reports meeting minutes, etc. Through interviews with key participants, the team clearly identified areas of greatest inefficiency. IES provided Radian industry best practices for assessing IT initiatives and how best to manage new development requests with enhancements and routine maintenance requests. Recommendations came in the context of process changes, modified roles and responsibilities, augmentation to the existing tracking system, and outreach to the business units in the form of improved or increased communication.
