Corporate Services (TCCS) provides support for
all the real estate needs of Mobil’s United
States Marketing and Refining (USM&R) division.
TCCS was responsible for managing, tracking
and reporting on 3,200 owned, ground leases
or leased stations. TCCS encountered a number
of obstacles relating to and revolving around
the existing information technology tools provided
for their use. Our team was asked to perform
an assessment of TCCS-Mobil requirements in
order to identify a complete system solution.
The IES team
performed a detailed needs assessment to obtain
the fundamental business processes performed
and the major information requirements used
to assess the market offerings. We then conducted
a dependency analysis to document the relationship
of the business processes with the information
needs.
We then carefully
analyzed the marketplace and investigated various
alternatives to select a Real Estate Management
System.
