Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) is the largest utility company in Texas. In need of updated operations and administrative facilities throughout their districts, PEC commissioned TSG Architects to design a prototype or “brand” a new series of operations centers, the first of which is in Marble Falls. The new Northwest Operations Center includes a 28,000 SF state-of-the-art 2-story administrative office building, a 33,000 SF operations warehouse building that includes offices and staff support areas as well as an “open” covered dock and truck storage, and a 9,400 SF maintenance building combined with a new truck wash. The project was LEED Certified and received the ABC Excellence award.
